Im going to drive to San Antonio to see my little brother at FT Sam Houston next month. Louisiana and Mississippi wont be a problem because they have reciprocity with Alabama but what should I do in Texas? Can i still carry concealed w/ my Al permit? In the car?

Check our www.packing.org. They are a great resource and have a detailed list of reciprocity agreements in all the states.

i know that Texas does not have reciprocity with AL. I was wondering more about having it in the car. What does Texas consider carrying/transporting?

You can carry it in a car but it cannot be in plain view or it is a violation of the law. I don't think you can carry it on your person but I could be wrong.
