Any real reason NOT to buy a .22 range report
What a fool I was.My XD is fun to shoot but my GSG is an absolute riot.I put 450 rounds through it with only one malfunction and shots were easily grouped in 50 cent piece groups at 35-40 ft.I'm guessing that the accuracy would be similar at greater distances but shooting has revealed to me my need for glasses. My only complaint is that the magazine(24 rnds)goes way to fast.Several of the guys working at the range thought it was one of the coolest thing to come through the door in some time and I would have to agree.Money very well spent and it makes me wish the zombie apocalypse would happen today. Thanks y'all for showing me the light.I'm guessing there will several more .22s in my future.
P.S.
I found out what happens when you wear shorts and no socks to the range today. The old hot brass dance.

LOL...Glad you found the joy that is shooting 22
I love my stock 10/22, though I have thought about doing the G36 mod to it because it looks so cool

your next move, a 22 rifle with a scope. Add some reactive targets, then you'll be hooked.

I love mine. We had a fun pistol/carbine two gun match a few weeks ago at our gun club. While most people brought there AR-15's, AK and a few others, I brought by GSG .22. Everyone else had optics mounted. I simply had the open sights that are stock on the gun.
I shot very tight groups, kicking butt and had a blast at the same time. I also have the GSG .22 pistol that I converted to a SBR and added a suppressor. Now that is real fun. The only sound you hear is that of the shooter laughing their butt off having so much fun. It was well worth the two tax stamps needed to be legal on the conversion.
I will say that I have the best results when I use Federal .22 ammo instead of Remington.

And let's just say that a tucked in shirt can lead to rapid untucking at the range.

One of the range dudes was telling me about his time in country when they were testing out their mini gun.He was down below and took about 50 casings down the back.Sounded real unpleasant.

.22LR rules! I bought my wife a Ruger 22/45 and quickly realized how much fun and how cheap they are to shoot! I felt like I was shooting a suppressed pistol! I ended up with a 10/22 and now a .22LR AR-15 which is really fun! It also allows me to drill for cheap on the AR and develop the muscle memory given everything is in the exact same location, the lower is a 5.56 lower.
My new rallying cry is "Don't poo poo the .22"!
Speaking of poo poo, is that 2 air freshening cans on the toilet in the pic? Dang!
