You have to do some work on the Beretta mags (i.e. add a hole on the front of the magazine) for them to work. The mag catch is in a different location on the XD than it is on the Beretta.

What the heck is a Hi-Capacity magazine?

I only know of standard and restricted capacity (wish I lived in another state) magazines

VT has no hi-cap mag laws.

Is the same true for XD mags in a Beretta? Does anyone know if they will work, need modification, or won't work at all?

Asking actually because I'm considering a Kel-Tec SUB-2000, and it would be cool if I could use XD mags in the Beretta 92 version of the SUB.

How much of an effort is required to exchange Klintonista mags for real mags? JHC! If you don't know whether "standard" capacity mags are legal in your state, then I suppose you don't have any business with 'em, anywho!
