i just don't see how it's fair AT All! those poor 5th place athletes and all...just not fair, they should get one too! just not fair, not fair at all! mean ole Olympics!
hey, what about the 6th place ones and then the 7th...
oh, everybody ought to get one...then it would be fair and balanced! isnt' that what we are striving for - equality. oh, the trauma, the trauma of coming in 4th! try harder next time or hey, maybe someone was better than you - THAT'S LIFE! deal with it! life is NOT fair! in this PC world after all!

Hey,.... what about me.... I mean,... us. We haven't done anything to earn a spot in the Olympics, but I still want a medal. I don't like being left out.

Its much higher than 1st/2nd or 3rd and there is a BIG loser penalty as well.

Michael Phelps is going to get one then.
What a dumba$$.
What is sad is that Ali Raisman doesn't get a bronze medal because she was more consistent than the Russian girl she tied. Raisman had the higher average place and lower standard deviation. By both these measures, she was the better ALL-AROUND gymnast.
