Only if your wife gives it to you.

What a dumba$$.

What is sad is that Ali Raisman doesn't get a bronze medal because she was more consistent than the Russian girl she tied. Raisman had the higher average place and lower standard deviation. By both these measures, she was the better ALL-AROUND gymnast.

liberals are gutting england like they are jack the ripper. That formerly fine and great nation of men ... all the way up to maybe late 50s for sure, and maybe a bit latter has been reduced to a punchline.

In 10 years you will be able to substitute england for most any french joke about dooshieness, lameness, fem effete men, weakness, laziness and more.

There are millions of tough hardened men from WWII rolling in their graves over this.

Yes! There should be an Objective Scoring Olympics for Swimming, track and field, ski racing, bobsled, Hockey, Basketball... and a Subjective Scoring Olympics for diving, gymnastics, figure skating. They should be at different times so I don't have to watch 800 freaking hours of figure skating!

I agree but i would rephrase to say it was not a few ticks, it was simply bigotry against success. There are lots of small and poor countries, they do not want to see the best. They want to see people from their country first, and if not their country, then please not america, romania, russia, japan and china taking up more than half, potentially each sending 3 athletes to the finals that 15/24 athletes.

The world no longer embraces the best. Its all managed fairness now.

Wieber should have gotten into the finals easy with her score, then she likely would have placed top 5 almost for sure and likely top 3.

Its liberals. If i did not do good, its because its not fair, not maybe they are not good, much less the best.

I could accept her exclusion if she qualified 20th, but she was 4th for crying out loud. Why should Brennan Ashleigh, who finished 28th, get to participate in the finals just because her entire country sucks at gymnastics. Where is Eddie the Eagle when we need him?

If they want to be "fair", then they should take ONE then from each team directly, then fill the rest with the best scores. Just like they do in swimming heats. The top two go forward, but they fill the other slots with the best times no matter what heat they are in.

The members of each team ALREADY had to compete under a quota system just to get on their own team.
