This.
This whole Chik-Fil-A thing is retarded. So the CEP says he hates gays so now every hardcore Christian is going to eat there. WTF is wrong with people?

I don't care if gays marry or not and I still am glad that Chick Fil-A is doing well. If the majority of the people want to patronize the place...let them. Good for the economy, too. Many that would never eat at the place are now going there.
Gays and the left LOVE to openly criticize and bash Christians, religious people and conservatives but cry "foul" when these people say a bad word against THEIR chosen beliefs. Hello! That is the pitfall of living in an open society and free market. Everyone is free to voice their opinions and let the chips fall where they may.
Also, remember that most states that have put gay marriage on the ballot have done so only to see it fail. Even liberal California did not vote to adopt gay marriage.

Well my state did, because an individual's rights to chose to be legally bound to another individual (that has their own protected rights) is not up to a religion to decide. There isn't a reason, other than one of religion, to prevent a legal homosexual union. It doesn't affect anyone else.
So why care about what CFA says? Because they are financially supporting government oppression of people. I don't care if they don't support gay marriage, but I do care that they support forcing religious beliefs into the government with their pocketbook.
The pride in open bigotry is astounding in this thread and in the CFA supporters. I love their food, but it's not worth it when I know the idiocy of those I would be eating next to. Bragging about how much business your local Chick-fil-a is getting just shows me what areas of the country have a greater population density of bigots, fanatics, fundamentalists, and uneducated morons. No wonder it's the poorest, fattest, dumbest part of the country.

Didn't happen. Not even close to what the man said.......
Not just Christians are going. People who believe in freedom of speech are headed there as well....

He never said he hates gays. He said he supports the biblical definition of marriage. There's a big difference between "I don't agree with your position" and hating someone because their position is different. I don't agree with the lifestyle of alcoholics or drug users, but I don't hate them. I'm getting so tired of everyone saying they are spreading "hate" when they are just stating what they believe to be true. They aren't refusing to serve gays. They also aren't the ones doing all the bashing in the news and media, yet they are the ones labeled as spreading hatred.

He said he is against gay marriage, I can read between the lines. He is a religious bigot. If Jeff and Tim want to get married it effects nobody but them so why does anyone care? I am not for or against but I see no reason to stop two gay people from getting married.
And FYI, two gay men had intercourse in your town probably within a block of your house last night, did it affect any of you?
No religions agenda should ever have any say in the way this country is run. This is a fine example and it is only a matter of time before gays are allowed to marry. This isn't year zero anymore people, wake up.

And it is spreading hatred. Hatred and intolerance. If you do not support gay marriage, don't have one. Until then stay out of other peoples business. This is supposed to be a free country not some crazy house run by Christian fanatics that think their beliefs should be pressed on everybody else.
