My prayers and condolences to you and your family.

I lost my father 4 years ago. It hurts. A lot. One thing I can assure you, you will never forget him, ever. He will be with you everyday, You will think of him everyday. You may even talk to him everyday. People will look at you when you suddenly laugh when you think of something. You will find yourself looking out in a fog, thinking and remembering how your father might have handled a situation. You will reflect a lot. You will also realize just how much more patient you can be in many situations. God bless. And always....Remember.

Thanks to all for your sympathies. I especially appreciate your encouragements. I'm keeping on, but it's hard to face the days at this point.

Joe,

So sorry for your loss. I pray you find comfort and solice soon. Your father sounds like a great man, one to remember for sure. Just know he's looking over you always and when you meet him again it will be with great joy and amazing awe. God bless.

Very sorry to hear about your loss. My father and I are extremely close and he is the reason I got into guns and got my CHL. A couple years ago he had a heart attack and it really brought things into perspective for me. Like others have said, remember the things he tought you and do your best to pass them on to others. Also rely on your friends and family and allow them to help you grieve.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but talk to a professional if you have to. No shame in that at all. Will feel good to just "talk" and might help more than you would think.

Again, no shame in that one bit.
