Not sure I'd go do this at an Arab festival, but I'd say it's well within their right to do so. Pretty sad to see. As a Michigander, Dearborn, MI (a Detroit suburb) is commonly called "Dearbornistan".

ya know... I hate to think what would have happened if a guy that was hit with a chunk of concrete and bleeding, picked up that same chunk of crete and wailed it nolan ryan style back into the face of someone in the mob.
would be be arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon? assaulting a minor? child abuse?
would it be a hate crime?
why wouldn't it be a hate crime to attack the Christians? the only motivation for the attack was the religious intolerance.

So ... let me get this straight. A few "christians" show up at an Arab or muslim festival (yes, there's a difference). Judging by their attire and signage, it appears that they showed up for the express purpose of denigrating Arabs or, possibly just islam. And what, exactly, did they think was going to happen???

Indeed, because Arabs/Muslims are apparently pathologically incapable of controlling themselves in the face of contradictory beliefs.  Even if the goal was to antagonize, their reactions reinforce the stereotype of Islamic Rage Boy.
