Misleading thread title is misleading. Lee was an idiot, and continues to be one. But he's acknowledged the mistake and seems to me trying to make it right.

The original poster mentioned in the article who refused to take down the post, on the other hand, is a complete jerk-wad.

old news, but most interesting to me is why spike lee did not suffer enough for this. Why was he involved, who is he. Even if he had the right address, what is he fed info by someone at the state level, or local police, then uses his "celebrity" as a shield.

Spike lee is a racist.
