$1500 to burn in the "gun fund" ......
What to do, what to do???????
I've got $1500 in the gun fund, and a gun show is coming up in 3 weeks. Do I get that Glock 33 I've been wanting and lots of ammo for everything I own? Or do I get a 9mm pistol to compliment the .45's I have?
I've got a few rifles, and an AK, and quite a few shotguns. Any ideas/suggestions?
Should I go back to an AR10? While it was expensive, it was fun to shoot. I'm lost!
It's not often $1500 is in the gun fund at once, usually I just get $500-$600 and buy something in that range......

So there's nothing you've been gleeming at? nothing is really tugging your heart strings?
Then I wouldn't buy anything! I'd keep saving it for a day I either really want something, or really need something, even if it's not related to guns (like an unexpected car repair bill, or medical expense). otherwise I'm just spending money for the sake of spending money, which is something i don't like to do.

Man that's a hard choice to make. If you've been wanting a G33 you could pick it up & a 9mm for $1500 & still have couple dollars left for some ammo. AR10's are also fun & a good choice IMO, but that's going to eat up all your funds..
Or just give it to me & I'll let you know what I picked.

Not really a fan of the 556/.223 round.
Nothing has really been calling my name except for a Glock 33, a .357sig subcompact.
Just something to add another cal to CCW. It could be a winter time CCW when folks are wearing thicker clothes........ Also been wanting to pick the wife up a little .22lr pistol for a while. I could get both, and have a good bit left over for some ammo. My .45 FMJ is getting low as well as my 7.62x39

Sounds like a plan & the wife would be happy also. Always a plus!

This is the "gun fund only" account There's quite a few accounts that we have, and one is the "unexpected" account, so that's covered.
This one is strictly for guns/ammo

Do you have an AR?
A Colt 6920, BCM M4 or Daniel Defense M4 will run you under 1500 bucks.
Do you have a good 1911? A Colt Series 70 or maybe a Dan Wesson Valor can be had for under 1500.
Maybe a Springfield M-1A?
