if the stuff you have is not tricked out, add some custom cases, some more mags, some scopes, a red dot like aimpoint, maybe some tech sights on a 22, a trigger job here or there.
If you have a nice pile of guns, and feel you have all the bases covered for sport, defense, hunting, and more. Then by all means begin tricking them out.
I bought a crap ton of guns between 2006, and 2010. Barely bough any guns since they, except 1 rifle.
2004 i had only a sks and a 22 marlin to my name, now i have a dozen handguns, and 15 rifles. Now begins the tweaking to my liking, and furthering my ammo hording.
I am a real ammo hording guy, i bought 30 ammo cans full of ammo for rifles and handguns, and almost a footlocker/steamer trunk full of shotguns shells and slugs.
You will always use the ammo, get us army surplus cans, through in a desicant packet, and start stacking them up, you can eat up the $1500 pretty easy doing that.
My great fears were that i did not buy many guns in my teens or early 20s, lots of shooting and hunting sure, but we could not even get carry permits when i turned 21, so it was not even really important for me to have a carry gun. Soon as that passed i got a carry gun, then a few years latter with obama on the horizon i wanted to snatch up all the guns i always wanted like a glock 19, cz75, sig p228, sig p6, and more. I didnt want to be like my dad was in the 1990s ... he forewent buying many things he wanted because he has 4 kids, he often speaks of opportunities to buy IMI uzis cheap in the 80s, and Hk rifles, sig hand guns, colt ar15s and more. He always passed them up, for sake of spending money on the kids (4 of us, ouch). Then when we were growing up, he was making more money, they basically banned a tons of neat guns from comming in, and neutured the ones you could have.
Don't get burned.
They probably will not actually gun grab any time soon in the next ten years, they will love to ban a TON of stuff both made here, and stuff imported.
