Huh? I 'think' you're trying to state that the laws of reality dictate there is only one actual "truth." I'll go with that.
Truth can't be made up by us or it wouldn't be Truth.
Self defining definitions usually work that way. Prisons are usually imprisoning.
The very nature of Truth shows that there can't be many "truths". There must be one Truth or it doesn't exist.
Again, we're on the same page. That's how reality works. We might disagree on that reality actually is, but no more than 1 of us can be right. It's entirely possible for both of us to be wrong.
God is not someone that can be what we make Him. We can't have a custom made god. I can make a stone idol and worship it as God. Does that make it God?
People have been doing for 10,000 years. I don't see why it would be impossible. They have the same arguments for their beliefs as you have for yours.
There is only one path to God because God is who He is not what we think He is.
So, he's lying to you?
He says that there is only one way. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We cannot know this on our own. It must be given to us to know it. And we cannot know it without asking Him for it.

I'm not saying "my beliefs=the truth". I'm saying I believe the truth. I said there can only be one truth and I believe that truth. The truth is outside of me and so it is not my perception of what the truth is. The message of the truth is there for you. I don't know what else I can say, so thats all from me. I hope that someday you will find what I am talking about and have the joy and peace that I have. Seek Him my friend and then you can say that you have tested the theory of God in a complete and thorough manner. Peace out.

Wow. I just read though all 13 pages. Good thread going here. There seems to be a nice calm over everyone.
I think we can all learn something from both sides of this argument. There are many many scientists who believe in God. Evolution and creation are not mutually exclusive in my opinion and more importantly the opinions of many scientist.
There is so much more to learn no matter how much we think we know.
I'm most facinated by the new discoveries in DNA. I believe it will prove a connection between us all that we could never have imagined. God may very well be proven through science and DNA research... If she wants to be.
I've never thought about it like TXPaladin put it but I guess you can "test" the theory of God. I've done it myself and God became a logical conclusion to me. Not the magical genie in the sky that a lot of people think of God as, not a person sitting on a cloud but everything and the connection between all things. Not just here in our little wold but things we can not even imagine.
