Drivers License/Insurance question

Does anyone know if applying for a drivers license in my new state will get reported to my insurance company?

I just moved and have 90 days to transfer everything over so I'm thinking I'll keep my insurance where it is until I have to change it(it saves me a lot of money this way and can pay for my new CCW and DL fees). If it gets reported I guess I'll have to go ahead and do it but I'm just trying to avoid any surprises when I get the new DL.

I'm asking because I want to get my CCW as my new state doesn't recognize my old state's CCW and the only way to apply is to have a DL with my current address on it.

I wouldn't think they'd know with it being your license. All my insurance ever cared about was my registration and anything involving the vehicle. If you're allowed 90 days I'd say go ahead and change the license.
