I've known a couple old-timers who were disabled vets who were looking at trikes because they lacked the leg strength to be able to hold up a regular bike. This might be tempting to that demographic.

They are not real motorcycles. They get dressed up like harley's and honda's. You sit up right on something that should be sporty but isn't. Controls really are not similar. I would rather see a HD trike than a Canam with someone on it. Sorry the cruiser looks dumb and the sport version doesn't look much better. Option B, get a trex motorcycle license but admits to being a car. Powered by GSXR 1000 engine or a busa engine.

Stick with your Streetglide. Seen lots of issues with the Can Ams, like fires!

AHAH! Finally, someone names a specific problem...begs the question: did the driver fall asleep in it while smoking?

if I had one of these I would feel like a Japanese guy going to fight the tentacle monster that's destroying tokyo.

I roadtested one when they first arrived -just curious but they were different.

I found them much like driving a go cart just sitting up higher. They don't lean at all thru the turns and felt like I was about to fly off going around a corner in town. Let me tell you, they stick!!!!

I would only ride one with a velcro a$$. I don't know how anyone can hang onto it without creeping around corners.

Someone who owns one can tell me I am full of it but that was my experience after taking a 20 minute ride.

That's pretty slick. And Akira is one of my favorite movies!

You can buy a really nice Honda for half the price and have better reliability.

I like the look for the Spider, too....but as an owner of 2 Hondas....man....I am sticking to Honda if I ever buy a real road bike. Reliability rules, if you ask me.

PS: One of my Hondas is a 1982 and still running strong on its original engine.

One of my club brothers has been riding the same goldwing since 82. 200k miles, and one of the fastest bikes in the club.

Still smells like burnt rice though...
