Rodney King found dead
Rodney King was found dead at the bottom of his pool early this morning. I am a little conflicted about it. He was an obvious dirtbag but certainly didn't deserve that infamous beating at the hands of the LAPD. If he had made a real effort at turning his life around I would probably be more sympathetic.
I did find it a little ironic that if he had not been awarded 4 million dollars he probably wouldn't have owned a pool and would still be alive. I know that sounds bad but it was one of the first things that came to mind.

I agree. Pretty much a wasted life but the riots killed more than 50 people so I thought it was worth a mention. This was also one of the first times police brutality was made public on video. Today all LEO's have to beware of the cellphones.
