I thought it was a good question for a 7 year old, so I started explaining it and I started thinking how weird the whole thing is.

Nitrogen fixed from the air by bacteria, absorbed in to plants and turned to amino acids, then eaten by cows and turned in to meat, then eaten by us and turned in to brand new humans. The molecules literally came out of thin air.

Or you go back long enough and we're all made from star dust like Carl Sagan used to say.
