Heading to Knoxville for conference + range trip

I'm making my yearly drive to Knoxville tomorrow for a technical conference that runs Friday/Saturday.

Getting there a day early has some benefits. A few of us geeks are gonna get together tomorrow afternoon at Coal Creek Armory for some fun.

It looks like a nice range, especially compared to where I go locally. A buddy is picking up the range fees which makes it event better. While I'm taking my gear with me, I'm gonna try out some of their rental guns including the Desert Eagle.

When you read their range rules and sign their disclaimer, read carefully. They slip in something that makes you have to flip the sheet over and sign it somewhere specific on the backside. If you don't do that, you have to go back again until you follow their directions. It's done to make sure you actually read their rules. Have fun.
