Is it me or are AR15 pistols just dumb? They're big, bulky, and expensive. They're also by design suspect in reliability. Sure they're cool from a novelty perspective, but if you want a pistol with rifle velocities FN has already answered you with the 5.7 pistol.

I fail to see the purpose other than the fun of making it. I doubt that it shoots that well. When I want a pistol I want a true handgun that can be carried lightly and shot repeatedly and accurately one-handed. I would not be steady with that thing..I'm sure the muzzle velocity/accuracy is less than a full length barrel too. I'm thinking it's like a Pegasus. Horses are cool, Birds are cool, but a flying horse doesn't really work. Or like Mr. Miyagi said: "Middle- Squashed like grape!"

i think the pistol ain't so great but with teh carbibne stock on it, there you have a practical weapon. A short barel carbine that is easy to conceal that packs biggish power. Too bad it then becomes a class 3 weapon with a stock on it.

Yeah ... first time I saw one I thought it was the dumbest thing I've ever seen but if I fired one I might change my mind

looks like a lot of fun. Unfortunatly my budget doesn't allow for "fun" it has to have utility to go with it.
