Sights lifting towards the right
At the range today, I noticed that during the moment the shot breaks and the muzzle flips, the sights lift not vertically, but leans towards the right, perhaps 45 degrees off the vertical axis. Is this indicative of bad grip / trigger pressure / etc.? I'm grouping about 1 - 2 inches left from the center (15 yards).
The good news is that I'm just barely starting to see my sights lift when the muzzle flashes. Can't quite call my shots yet, but at least I'm not blinking my eyes as long as I used to, I think. |

Try jamming that beavertail area of your gun really deep into the web of your hand. You want to grip as high up as possible. This should help reduce that twisting motion. Also, make sure you're locking your wrists up tight during firing.
Is the twisting motion caused by the rifling of the barrel that spins the bullet? Someone else might need to chime in. -stunks |
