Seeing a KNOWN criminal event and not having your gun out AND not shooting them if they get within the 20-foot rule (after some verbal warnings unless in your house), I'd say you'd also be an idiot and deserved the beating!

well, are you justified in 'brandishing' your pistol?? how do you actually know if he is going to do harm to you>??? how do you know he is a criminal at all?? how would you know that he is actually committing a crime??? all this while you pistol is out and he is inside the 21 foot rule?? is he obligated to answer questions to you>?? what makes you high and mighty to pull your pistol out?? did he threaten you in any way?? hes just standing there with his hands up....walking towards you. i never made mention of ANY weapon....what justified you to pull out your pistol??

you just shot and killed an innocent young grandson of the owners of the home who locked his keys inside...because he was deaf and didnt hear your instructions and was walking towards you to read your lips as most deaf people do. my best friends wife is deaf. even with hearing aids.....

Zimmerman showed great restraint in this shooting. Trayvon was showing signs of being drug crazed at the time and was on the attact punching Zimmerman wildly while holding him on the ground.

Most of you reading this forum have the mind set that when encountering a drug crazed attacker on the street or inside your home the only to stop the attack is with the very best defensive ammo you can buy and do a tripple tap on the attacker with 2 to the chest and 1 to the head. I have read that hundreds of times on this very forum. Now think about this, Zimmerman restrained himself with only 1 shot to the chest. Does that sound like someone out of control because of prescription drugs? No, it does not. However the force of the attack from Travon to Zimmerman "does" sound like someone out of control because of the effects of drugs.

Martin, according to Zimmermand "sucker punched" Zimmerman. The he was on top, banging his head into the side walk. ( See the report, "broken nose, black eyes, cuts on the back of the head".) I would, DEFINETLY" SHOOT the MFer doing this to me. Martin was a wannabe. Live with it!

I dunno about wannabe... hes selling drugs, doing drugs, attacking people, being caught with stolen jewelry. I would say he was amateur class real deal looking to move up.

I am sooo tired of those who always have a "different" senerio of what happened. I don't care who you are...if someone is on top of you, no matter if you started it or not!, if you are in FEAR of your life, YOU would SHOOT, TOO!
Don't second guess. Ther are alot of "should've, could've"s. Who cares!? Martin ATTACKED Zimmerman, it doesn"t matter if he was right or wrong! Once he was on top...game over...BANG! your dead!

I agree with everyting said here, and yes there is reason to celebrate, one less thug to try to break into some poor unsuspecting person's home. I have always said and felt, good guys - 1, thug - dead. Until these lieing, theving goons are taught a lesson, this is just going to keep going on. The police are not here to protect you, they investigate after the crime has already happened. I for one will be damned if I put my or my families saftey, protection and faith in the hands of the police.
