Who thinks???

Who here thinks that we could solve the whole gun issue up like this:

Real simple actually...Let every "legal" US citizen carry concealed or open.

Period.

Criminals are going to obtain and carry the gun or knife or whatever they need...no matter what the law says...the law does not apply to them in their minds.

If they think we are all armed...which im sure most of us would be...is there anyone in here......really...anyone who thinks most criminals are going to try robbing you. Not many....and that should be the law. Period.

I'd say crime rate would drop to a all time low.

I'd have to slightly disagree. There are people who are too immature or irresponsible who shouldn't have a firearm, period. This includes a number of my friends. And if you do carry, you have to get some training to be competent to use one.

Otherwise...hey, why not? I mean, we basically hand out driver's licenses to people who can't drive worth a dime.

Well yeah...everyone would have to take a saftey course and all that...Im looking for just a yes...or no.

If it were that simple....yes or no....does everyone agree ...the crime rate would drop.

I mean who is gonna run around robbing banks...when everyone in the bank has a gun? Better have a whole crew thats gonna do the job with you.

See my point....One guy with a gun....against anyone else around...you could get shot by anyone...not many would risk it. Small % at most.

Or bad guys would become much more violent. Kill everone in the bank. Banks would get crazier with their security like some have already put in metal detectors that don't allow someone with a large amount of metal in without more screenings.

Niether do mine. In fact they encourage carry. The law even states it is not illegal to carry in financial institutions.

I think we tried this once (early 1800's-early 1900's). Too many people getting shot "cuz he looked at me funny". Of course it was the "Wild West" so who knows.

I could see the politicians having a collective coronary at the mere mention of this...maybe it's not a bad idea after all.
