CCW at NC Festival (Speedstreet)

This evening I will be going to Speedstreet in Charlotte NC. Am I legally allowed to carry there? The reason I ask is because
1) Beer is sold and consumed there: However is a festival considered an establishment, if you buy the beer at a tent and consume on the street. (No beer for me, No fee for admission)

§ 14‑269.3. Carrying weapons into assemblies and establishments where alcoholic beverages are sold and consumed.
(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to carry any gun, rifle, or pistol into any assembly where a fee has been charged for admission thereto, or into any establishment in which alcoholic beverages are sold and consumed. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.

2) The rules and regs listed on the event website states no weapons?

There is enough grey area there for me to leave my gun in the car. If NC is like SC, the fact beer will be there makes it a NO for me.

I'm not loosing my CWP because some drunk woman bumps into my gun and starts running her mouth. Cops are generally in no B.S. moods at events like that so you'd prob in up in jail and your CWP taken away long before the debate about the definition of ESTABLISHMENT is over....Just my opinion.
