Nothing's holding you back... go for it! As a matter of fact, instead of selfishly consuming irreplaceable resources for several more decades, why not just choose to end things now... walk off into the woods sans equipment, food & water. Head for the sounds of the wolves howling at night.

My dad has always said that when he passes, he wants to be run through a wood chipper and spread across the ocean. (He is an avid fisherman and loves the ocean) But, because he can't legally do that around here, his second option is to be placed in a burlap sack and left in a shallow grave for the worms and other things to get to him.
I honestly don't see the point of expensive caskets and funerals. Most people make it out to be some dramatic and depressed scene. They spend lavish amounts of money on the things and they don't even have a good time. When I pass, I want my family and friends to party like there's no tomorrow; have fun and enjoy the occasion. There's no way I want them spending the funeral money on an expensive casket that I'll never get to enjoy anyways.

I fully support your decision to "give" back to nature when you pass away. I would ask that you fully research if doing so will cause any harm, such as contamination of the ground water, before committing to such. While it is natural for animals to die and get decomposed in nature, we don't eat, live, or anything like those animals. There could be toxic levels of pharmaceuticals stored away in your liver or adipose tissue from years of consumption that could be released as you decompose. Just food for thought.

Do a burial at sea.
It's neat and clean and your body will either decompose or be eathen by fish. Plus, your corpse won't be found later and be used to start a useless murder investigation or gross out some hikers or hunters.

Probably gonna stick to cremation. It would be a tough sell to the family for the "wolves thing", you know, social mores and all.
