I never said it was a problem at all. I'm Filipino, Hawaiian, and German, so it doesn't bother me one bit. As far as it being monitored and reported, you'll need to ask that question elsewhere.

I wasn't suggesting you thought it was a problem I'm just wondering why time and energy is spent recording data like this.

It's silly to be sure. You'd think they'd have more worthwhile things to collect data on but this is why I posted, to see what this community thinks of it.

Should all demographics studies be abondoned, then? Studies such as this are significant when the majority population of a nation does not produce its proportional share of births; this portends (potentially huge) changes in the nation's future population. Look to the cultural deaths of Italy and France (two notable examples) in western Europe where indigenous peoples' births cannot make up for death rates; also the population crash of Russia.

Birth rate should be studied, but to say 'white birth rate' 'black birth rate' etc. is to imply that there's something wrong or different about one race having more babies than another. It doesn't say that the birth rate is down it says the white birth rate is down relative to others. If they are worried about indigenous population birth rates then where is the birth rate for Native Americans on the list?

Cultural deaths eh? I was in Italy and France about 3 years ago and last time I checked they still spoke French in Paris and Italian in Venice, even the darker ones. They were still serving their respective native food and drinks, and the flags were still the same color as before.

'Cultural Death' sounds like a negative way to say 'racial diversity' to me. Sounds to me like what you're saying is 'Oh no were running out of white people! Soon it will all be MINORITIES! (DUNH DUNH DUNH!)'
