Fiat pranked VW

Fiat Photo Bombs Volkswagen With Elaborate Street View Prank
Quote:
Well played, Fiat. By paying attention to when Google's fleet of camera cars were snooping around Södertälje, where Volkswagen's Swedish operations are headquartered, Fiat zinged their rival good. How? By parking a Fiat 500 right in front of the front door when Google's Street View cars were out.

It won't last on there, but that's kind of funny.

Sorry but if you are in Sweden...why would you drive a Fiat or VW?

LOL

I'd drive a VW before a SAAB any day of the week.

My wife and I just laugh about our Saab 9-5.

We always tell ourselves "this is the car that is supposed to suck...bit it does not."

120k miles on the thing and other than tires and brakes...it has not given a lick of trouble.

Our Volvos have an ever better track record. The 91 240 I drive to work every day has 245k miles on the original engine and tranny. Ever seen a Jetta do that? How about a Taurus or Impala? Me neither.

I owed two VWs. My experience was that the VW had parts that cost about what similar parts cost me on our 2 BMW 3 Series sedans. An economy car with luxury car prices. They weren't overly troublesome cars, but the parts cost about what we pay for BMW or Volvo parts.

Volvo's crash test data also speaks for itself.

I got rear-eneded in my 99 Silverado by a Golf and that thing was toast.

You can have the VWs, thank you.

I've noticed that Volvo have incredibly smooth acceleration. You can get up to 90 before you start wondering why all the other cars on the road are going so slow

Im betting that the diesel version of the Jetta will surpass the 245k mark!
I had a 93 ford ranger(4cyl) with 370k miles on it when I sold it

It's too bad Fiat can prank better than they can build cars.

Can you imagine that tiny Fiat rear-ending something like a Suburban, Hummer or full size pickup?

No thanks....that is a death trap waiting to happen.

Ditto for the Mini, Smart Car and that new tiny Scion car.
