Tactial flashlight

Hello I am looking into getting a decent tactial flashlight like a surefire fury or an Olight M21X worrier something along these lines, I want to stay in the 150 and under price range and I would like it to be a compact light like the ones I've listed. Does anyone have any expertise in this area? Or thoughts about the 2 mentioned? Thank you in advance for responses

I have a different model Surefire and it's a piece of garbage. Opened it up, started using it, 6 months in the switch collapses and won't work. Surefire's solution? Pay them $40 for a new switch.

I have the Streamlight pro-tac 2l, it is 180 lumens, small enough for EDC and is about 50-60$. I love it. I have a few TerraLux, and a few Surefires also, but prefer the size of the pro-tac.

That's odd. Over the years I've broken at least two of my dozen Surefires including a switch. Before I finished explaining the problem they were asking for my address to ship out the parts.

I guess no company is perfect. Sorry to hear.

Op,
Do you need 500 lumens? Some of the old G2LEDs can be found for about $60 still. They are 120 lumen but you get 10-12 hours out of the batteries rather than 2. Good enough for a pocket light. I found some GPX and 6XP lights really cheap as well. Both are around 200 lumen but only 2 hours or runtime.

MagLite XL200

Not technically a tactical light, and it has 3 flaws. No lanyard ring, no beveled side to keep it from rolling, and no serrated end for attack. I intend to solve the first two, and not worry about the latter.

It did fall out of my pocket at a movie theater and roll across the floor. Had to wait until the movie was over to go looking for it.

I just liked the quality, power of the light, size, and functions for the price. It serves as a edc for me. Got it through Amazon.
