If I was a cop I would want to kick these guys butts for giving my profession bad name!
I like the one cop saying:
"You see my fists? They're getting ready to f--- you up."
and
"We ran out of options so I got to the end of my Taser and I ... smashed his face to hell."
No wonder people are getting arrested for videotaping police and politicans are working to make it illegal despite what the courts say!

It's a small fraction of LEOs that are out there just like the soldiers that go out and do the wrong thing are a small percentage. They should be held to higher standard though so when they violate that trust the penalties should be more severe....provided they are found guilty in a court of law. In this case I just can't see how this could be justified but I wasn't there.

Good point. Here in Las Vegas, after the Erik Scott incident, the city revamped it's Coroner's Inquest procedures. The Police union promptly advised their members to stop participating in the inquests.
Now the city wants officers to start testing body cams (Las Vegas Metro doesn't have dash cams). The union immediately threatened legal action to stop it. Kinda makes you wonder who their "Serving and Protecting"!

Agreed the problem is they always use the same excuse. I just herd this one for the millionth time last week. "Walk a mile in my shoes"
They figure since their work is dangerous they deserve to do what they want and be immune to the laws they swore to uphold.
