Post Flashback to younger days

So, I'm sitting on the couch after a full day of work, and working on some side work, and kick on the music on demand on cable; it's playing some music I like on the Classic Rock station, but goes bad. I change it to the 70's, nothing great there, jump to 80's, nothing I want to hear at the time, then hit 90's, and hear "Lightning Crashes" by Live; haven't heard that song in a.....well a long time. Any one else have one of those, turned on the radio and...wow, it's been a super long time (then you think about how old you are), haven't heard that in a long time, and it takes you back to younger days?

Yes, quite often since getting satellite radio many years ago.
I started hearing songs I had not heard in 20 or even 30 years.

You need to come on over to our music thread..

What are you currently listening to?

You will be enlightened with all kinds of old, and a little new, stuff..
90s pop stunk, but the birth of grunge and alternative was a good thing.
We would also welcome any and all contributions you would like to make to the thread......

I work from home four days a week and always have music streaming. I had to upgrade my speakers a few years back because the music from the 80's and 90's were great to hear again.

You know you're old when the music you love is on "Classic" channels and Time Life sells compilations.

I recently found my old copy of Live's first album, "Mental Jewelry", in my garage and played it last weekend while washing my truck. Forgot how good that band was on their first 2-3 albums. Good stuff.

yep, it amazes me sometimes when you catch an old song at certain times and you literally will be teleported back to when life was good and free and you were that young love struck dude when music was your life it seems...however, it would have been on that '70s station you went to for me! oh, to be young again and live that life broke young/dumb full of niavety!
