Downloaded but it keeps giving an error when I try to install it. It also said to enter my email address, but didn't provide a place to do so. What am I missing?

It gives me an 1158 error when running the .exe file. I'm attempting to install it on a Win7 machine. There may be a conflict w/ another drafting program on my machine. I'll try deleting that one and see where it gets me.

I installed it on a blank reinstall WinXP 32-bit, and on a Win7 64-bit workstation running SolidWorks with no issues like I said. Also they were installed at two different times with downloads direct from the link above.

Not doubting you for a second. I'm sure there is some silly little step that I am missing.
(BTW, Thanks for the heads up on this. )

Thanks for the offer.

You are my hero.
I've been searching for a good 2D drafting program for decades. Use Microstation and ACAD at work, but those licenses are ridiculous. Now I'm consulting on my own, there's no way I could justify buying a "real" 3D type program.
Today, I was able to install also on an OLD install of Vista-64. Seems to run fine, but I got a license server offline error so I haven't activated yet.
My main question would be is if these files will be truly compatible with full 3D versions of ACAD down the road. Many times I do concept plans which then get XREF'd into real ACAD drawings by actual CAD techs.
