Then again... a kid wearing a hoodie running through a neighborhood would probably be construed as "he is running away from something... must have done something wrong". I think our kids are damned if they do, damned if they don't!

It is suit and tie and bicycles for my kids. I don't know of too many mormon and Jehovah's witnesses getting shot so that might be a good disguise.

JUUUUUUUST out of curiosity, can they match up time trayvon was staying at that house vs reports of homes being broken into?

Zimmerman wasn't trying to catch Martin. He was trying to keep him in sight.

In other words he was WATCHING him.

Those of you that think Zimmerman is at fault need to look at the facts.

Zimmerman did not try to accost Martin.

Zimmerman lost sight of Martin.

Zimmerman gave up looking for Martin and was headed back to his vehicle to wait for the police that he called and arrived just a minute or two after the shooting happened.

With all that, you still WANT to blame Zimmerman, so you invent scenarios where Zimmerman chases Martin down and wrestles him to the ground. Then he shoots Martin while Martin is trying to get away.

Amazing.

There's a REASON the police told Zimmerman NOT to follow. We all just found out WHY with this case.

the timeline I saw came with a map. they say he left and it takes about 15 or 20 minutes to walk to the store so from the time they have him on security camera he should have been home 20 minutes after that.

they have the call from Zman like 30-40 minutes after the allotted time to return to the house. so 20 minutes walk time plus the 30-40 minutes after is plenty of time to find mischief.

at least that's what I got from it.

If Zimmerman is found "Not Guilty" and this is found to be a legitimate case of self-defense, are you still going to be crying for Trayvon, or will you think, "Gee, maybe I was wrong."?

You'd better, because if you're ever involved in a legitimate self-defense shooting and there aren't any witnesses, it better not be a black kid you shot. If it is, you're likely to go through the same thing Zimmerman is.

You don't have to worry about that. Everything is black and white to some people. They would not have followed the kid, not have got out of the car, not have shot when he was beating his head in the ground.

The people here are so intelligent that they could NEVER be in that position.
