Who else went to the range on Easter?

We figured there'd be quite a few at the private outdoor range we belong to, but when my wife and I and my 8-year old son arrived, we had the place all to ourselves. That was cool, the range was hot when we said it was hot, and cold when we said it was cold, and we could work on draws, rapid-fire, and close-quarters work to our heart's content. We were really surprised the place wasn't packed, much less totally empty.

I went the day prior, which would be saturday. The range was SWAMPED. I have to give credit to the guys in front of me, they opted to shoot on one lane so I would be able to shoot.

Had a great day at the range today. It wasn't busy at all. Great weather too.

I made it out Saturday (the sun came out and it turned into a beautiful day). It was very busy, lots of families and guys showing off to their GF's. I'm used to having the place mostly to myself.

Still, can't complain. It was so nice out, and still a great day at the range.

Sunday was a very quiet day at the range. Very few people there as opposed to the usual crowd. I haven't had to wait on a lane there yet, but it does get rather full at times.

Made it out Saturday with a friend from work at the local range. And then again yesterday everyone in the family brought their guns out. We went down to the river and shot for a couple hours. Now were talking about having an annual egg shoot. Mostly hard boiled and raw, but a few of the plastic ones with some tannerite. Can't wait for next Easter haha.

Did Easter on Saturday at one family members place and some more Easter on Sunday. Also mowed on Sunday before it decided to rain all day. Don't really have a range to go to around here anyway.

I didn't go to the range but it's been a family tradition that on major holidays to bring the range to my mother's house. the women folk stayed inside with hyper kids and the men folk tested home loads and sighted guns in for spring hunts.
