I heard about this on the radio. That's crazy! Couldn't imagine being him and having a cat on you attacking you and then seeing a bear come over and think that things just got even worse and there is no escaping now. Only to have the bear save you from the cat.

The bear already decided the guy was harmless to her cubs, but the lion wasn't so harmless. It was an aggressive predator near her cubs so it had to go, nothing more.
