Haven't seen this posted yet. Just sad when people can't even mourn without the threat of violence. No motive yet. Makes me wonder if it's gang related.

Yep, gang involvement.

Gang dispute sparked funeral home shooting that left 2 dead, 12 injured - North Miami / NMB - MiamiHerald.com

Why is the gangstas can't just go do their shooting at each other away from the non-involved parties? There's always innocents getting hurt and killed, and often the intended target doesn't get touched.

There is no "Common Sense Gun Regulation". There is only unconstitutional gun restriction.

I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.

Because Americans have allowed it. 100 years ago, the men would have acted like men, and dealt with these mutts. We have handed our security to the state, and they have predictably failed us. We are now paying a very high price for allowing it to get to this point.

In my utopia, a carload of guys would have chased them down and dealt with it.

ETA- Unlike contemporary leftie kooks, I know the difference between good guys and bad guys.

You can't just kill people who have killed other people. They are entitled to due process, by that I mean the off chance they do get caught days later, spend years pencil whippin' the justice system and either get out a few years later or euthanized so peacefully a beagle could only be so lucky. Listen to me, I'm doin' what everyone else in America does when trajedy strikes-point my finger and run my mouth instead of doin' somethin' usefull for a change.

I'm not saying now, I was referring to then.

Sadly, I think it's too late. The only thing I advocate is for people to protect themselves. I personally find it ludicrous that otherwise rational people can be so ignorant about their own personal safety. For me, it really has nothing to do with guns, either. I am a gun guy, but I see them the same as every other tool I own.

My thing is more about mindset. I believe that a healthy perspective is the single most valuable asset one can have. The ability to think on one's feet will keep that person alive far longer than any firearm alone will.
