I ordered a gun last Thursday, I got an email today with a tracking number, saying that it was shipped today (monday).

That said, I do not have as high opinion of buds as I have in the past.

They didn't used to have very competitive prices, but around christmas they seemed to wise up and their prices have become VERY good, especially on the XD's. You may want to check them again. It depends on the model but I got my XD sc from them earlier this month for 428 shipped. Thats cheaper than buds even with the cash discount.

They wanted somewhere between 480-550 for an XD at my LGS. I got mine for less than $430 shipped, and the local pawn shop does $10 transfers. I don't know what that state use tax you mention is, but I pay zero tax on all online orders since no one is dumb enough to set up shop in New Mexico. Buds prices includes shipping, and cheaperthandirt ships all handguns for 11 dollars.

well its only been 4 buisness days, its took 8 for mine to ship, on the 8th day I got ahold of a manager, he gave me the whole were swampped crap,15minutes later my gun was shipped. ill probably never use them again.

For me it was $325 + tax or $260+$30 for the FFL not a huge savings, but it would have been better If I'd have found a better FFL fee. If I had a great relationship with any local retailer, I'd have tossed them a bone. Maybe I wil if this pending transactions with buds doesn't go through. It was also claimed to be in stock vs. who knows how long of a wait.
