Nope, so far only 10 days... they said it could take 7-10 days... alot better then my home county department, freaking the whole 45 days, sometimes longer...

I was pretty lucky. I went to Pike County for mine. I guess it usually takes 3-4 wks. But it was 5 days for the wife and I to get ours. I went to high school with the Sheriff and my brother is the assistant prosecuting attorney for Pike County I sure that helped. Heck that was the reason I went there instead of Ross County. Took about 14 days for my FLA but about 30 for my wife. She had to resubmit her fingerprints.

A week or so sounds reasonable....definitely better than some of the horror stories where they drag it out to the absolute last day

Late to this party as well. I live on the north side of Columbus and I can say that Blackwing is a nice place as far as catering to sizeable group outings. Very nice clean facilities there,. plenty of food, big catering rooms, nice shop with lots of guns and accessories and big bathrooms! Another decent place that could handle anywhere between 30-75 people is the Delaware shooting range in delaware county not far from there. Non members and out of staters can get a day pass on site there from the ranger I beleive. If not theres Norton's sporting goods right down the road a mile or 2 where you can pick one up. Delware has trap ranges and a decent sized and equipped pistol range as well. The ODNR can assist in any range questions and possibly rent/reserve the range out to the group if its sizeable enough.
Slugger what part of NW Ohio are you from? I grew up in Elida myself, graduated in 96.

Blackwing has been ruled out. Too expensive and they can only rent out for 1 hour.
I am working on using a friends property about 40 miles SE of Columbus at the moment for July 8.
