Windows 8 Consumer Preview - What it looks like

The steel cannot be dulled, chipped or broken.
Its thrust is deep and causes agonizing pain.
Those struck with the dagger of truth
must come to terms with the wicked lies

No matter where you run or hide, nor how deep you dig your foxhole...the big green weenie WILL find you.

They just need to add a zoom in/out feature to the interface.

I am fan of the Metro interface, its just better than static grid of icons on ixxx or Andoid. It really grows on you after some time, very productive

I am a techy person. I've been writing code since '91 and designing webpages for the same amount of time. I LOVE my mobile devices. However, I prefer Android to Windoze Mobile and the latest iteration made me laugh out loud. I think in the first year that the latest version of Windoze phone was available in our Verizon Wireless store, we sold 2. There's a reason they're basically being given away. Nobody with an option of the iPhone or a strong Android phone buys Windoze mobile. Especially with that interface.
But then what do I know, I use my computer for work primarily. Don't spend time playing with it.

Great. They've taken the least popular format for phones and made you use your computer with it. Windows 7 is actually not bad. Especially after windows Vista. I sometimes wonder if MS isn't putting out crap every other generation to make you like the decent generations? This will force all the people using XP to upgrade to Win7. I'll stay with Win 7. If I want apps, I'll use my phone.

They always do this, put out a solid os (xp) then a crap os (vista) and then a pretty good one (7). 8 is going to suck, it was basically known before they even started making it
