Good point. I just like the idea that I could shoot around the house or in the backyard.

If you see it as a toy, it is expensive at this price. If you see it as a trainer, it will well worth the cost. Same reason why folks buy a 22LR top end (at $300+) for the 1911s. 22LR is cheaper than 45ACP. I see this as a tool for overall practice and excellent for young ones who are just starting out.

Don't know much about airsoft but have an XD45. This might be a good practice gun. Shouldn't it have an orange tip though? What is a good place to get one?

They often show stock photos without it, and send with one depending on destination laws.

If not, could probably just use orange testors paint if you needed to.

PRobably a question for the seller though

They have to have the orange tip when they are imported and it will be there upon delivery.

I have taken the orange tips off of my airsoft rifles and pistol.

I thought that too. But my son just ordered a Ruger type airsoft pistol from Bass Pro shop, and it came without one.

From what I understand from frequenting various forums you are handling this criticism completely wrong. You are supposed to get bent out of shape and start turning towards personal attacks.

Hmm for that price i would rather just go to the range a few times.

Any airsoft or toy gun is required to have an orange tip. If it doesn't, you are responsible for putting orange on the tip.

You're citing laws that don't exist. People been doing this lately here....

It is required to be shipped/manufactured with an orange tip. You can legally remove after you receive it. Whether it's wise or not is up to you.
