Stippling a Polymer Frame

Has anyone tried to stipple a polymer frame? I just put a stipple grip on my XDm 9 mm 3.8. It turned out excellent and looks great also.

Nope! No one has ever tried to stipple a polymer grip. Never heard of it at all.

Did you sand the grip down after? The pics look good.

Looks great, Some touch ups and lite sanding and you'll be finished.

I just hit it lightly with some sand paper to knock the sharpies off thats all.

Your stipple job looks great! Good job!

Am I correct in assuming soldering iron, fine point tip and anality generally reserved for classing painting restorers?
