I didn't hear about that. Either it was a busy news day, or it got buried.

I may have heard... "stories" from "friends" that I may or may not know from vague intelligence services for unspecified sectors that there may or may not have been reports of people possibly planning attacks like this.

mine was a joke about i'm in afghanistan and tacticooled out. they did change you, you could have a wire tap, you have to be humiliated to fly on a plane and so on. You could end up on a no fly list no evidence given and have to pay your own money to fight it and get off of it.

my point was things like the tsa, especially run by children that get sexual fun out of searching people is morally beyond reprehensible. Movies even make jokes about how low the qualifications are to be in the TSA and how retarded they are. Many videotaped examples of women feeling up young girls for the visual satisfaction of their bfs at the screening points. Many if not most of the TSA workers should be fired for misbehavior or not reporting it.

then you have them searching all military plane flights and taking our issued switchblades and personally bought high end knives because the law allows them to search all commercial aircraft passengers... but not take government owned gear, so we can have machine guns, thermal optics, m16s, m4s and grenade launchers but they will take our personal family heirloom knives because they can...... creating government agencies in a rush just creates a situation for abuse and flagrant misbehavior akin to the nazis and russians of WWII. people at the ATF are more interested in f'ing up gunshops then busting bad people, mainly because its less dangerous and politically more beneficial thus better chance of promotion.
