Just bought a new XDM 4.5. I took it out to the range and crank out about 50 rounds. The 4.5 was sweet to shoot and handle, but here is my concern. Immediately I noticed the cases were
heavily burned from back gases to about a third of the case just short of about .25 from the extractor base... kind of ugly... right?
Question: has anyone had this problem on a Springfield match barrel straight out of the box?
I called the factory and yes they want to see it but they are on LOCK DOWN for inventory. I have to wait a week to sent it off and wait for it back. BUMMMMER.
I currently have a XD40 that Ive pushed over 10K+ rds through which I also carry, I thought I was getting another jewel, hopefully not a lump of coal....
