also, after she takes the class, she doesn't have to qualify that day. you can take the shooting test for up to a year after you complete the class free of charge.
so if she wants to qualify with the .40 she can take a few trips to the range to get a feel for the gun. then she can come back and do the shooting test at her leisure

WEll thats pretty awesome and $10 for a rental thats un-heard of in Miami thanks for the great Tips and advice

Yes I got that score with my sc40. I put about 500 rnds my gun (1250 total) a couple weeks before I did the class. I did 50 left 50 right to get familiar with the off hand shooting. Plus the plates were over 100ft I was shooting at.
If you've never shot with your non shooting hand I highly recomend you try it out.
Also in my class of 25, 14 people had never fired their guns before. Scary stuff. I qualified first and got the hell out of there.

Hey thanks for all the help guys I passed and my first time shooting girlfriend passed with my SC.40 her XDmC.40 came in the mail just before i left.
tomorrow is my birthday I'm Back in Vegas and she wants to take me shooting today
