Why the bleep can't I sleep?

Man, this has been going on the last week now. I'm tired as crap but still can't sleep. I've tried reading, watching tv and just laying there. My mind just keeps racing. Nothing major going on just the normal worries and pressure of taking care of the family. I feel fine health wise my damn mind just won't stop wondering.

Exercise is proven to wake you up a little then "crash" after that peak.

Several questions:
1. What kind of foods, and how late are you eating/snacking?
2. How much caffinated beverages are you drinking?
3. What kind of things are you working on / thinking about before going to bed?
4. Are you consuming alcohol before going to bed?
Each one of these things can affect your sleep in a negative way. Hope you figure it out, because not sleeping well stinks.

All natural Melatonin, I have 3mg tabs and break them in half.

I take 1/2 and sleep like a baby, more like in a coma.

I don't take them every night, maybe once a month.

Do you take aspirin before bed? Some have a snit load of caffeine in them.

I'd say to have a light aerobic work out, a smaller dinner, no snack, quick shower and then sex with a hot babe for 2 hours. That should put you to sleep

Age and caffeine intake are my first thoughts. Chocolate intake after 5 PM is a NO NO for me now. Never used to be but that changed the last few years.
Your body changes as we age. Some people find they can't have ANY caffeine. Myself it was about age 35 that coffee after 5 had to be decaf. Maybe no more Red Bull for you.

Well here we ago again. Another night and I'm sitting here wide awake. I think the problem may be caffeine. So no pepsi since 6pm tonight and even haven't smoked a cigarette since 8. At lease dateline on investigation discovery is pretty good right now.
