The ONLY one to check out in this area is in Franklin. Franklin Gun Shop. Right off I-65 at the highway 96 exit. Family owned, Jerry, Mike, and Brian Hassler. Great people and the best inventory of any shop in Middle Tennessee. You'll see the shop on the right about 1/2 mile before the exit.
If anyone tells you to visit the one on Murfreesboro Road in Nashville, don't even bother. I always feel like I need a gun to fight my way in there, not the best part of town. http://www.franklingunshop.com

While in Franklin, you gotta eat at Dotson's. Chicken, fried okra, biscuits and sweet tea. mmmmm. Chess pie maybe?
