I figured that Rosie is about as much as a spokesperson for gays as Jesse Jackson is for blacks.

Normally, I cannot stand her (that awful accent is hard on southern ears!) but Rosie did go on O'Reilly's show one night and defended the stance on allowing gays to adopt children. Funny thing was, I really had no opinion either way on that issue, but she made a good case for it and I don't really have a problem with it. Bill was hard and pulled no punches but she made her case and in the end, I don't think O'Reilly was sitting opposite her on that issue.

God knows I have known plenty of screwed up adults that came from hetero households that were otherwise abusive and not a good place for a kid (a cousin of mine, that is gay, comes to mind); if a gay couple can give a child a loving, safe and nurturing home and support them and give them the foundation to become normal productive adults - I say let them.

Rosie and I may be worlds apart on the gun issue and I do love poking fun at her for certain things, but I really don't think her stance on gay couples adopting children was something I will ever oppose.

I also don't think her sexual preference has anything to do with her other far left views and wacky outbursts (like that jab at Tom Selleck a few years ago), as there are plenty of hetero leftists out there that kill that theory altogether.

Sorry Brickboy - but I just don't get the recurring response regarding her sexual preference. Who cares if she's a dike or not??? I don't get that one at all. She's an incredibly fugly, annoying, obnoxious pile of sh*t. Who gives a rats ass about her opinion on anything (sexual, political, ...) She's a grotesque creature that spews crap everytime its mouth opens. Really, nothing she says or does matters to me - and probably the majority of folks.

But then again, I feel the same way about her buddy madonna too. Granted, she's more pleasant to look at (although she's looking like a pathetic aging woman struggling to hang on to youth). But she's like the rest of those hollywood scum bags. Somewhere along the line, entertainers seem to have developed the false understanding that you and I and others care about their opinions. Most people do not. To me, that's the amusing part of the entire post here. I've never seen the show - but apparently it's one where a panel voices their opinions. Putting the Rosie Turd on is going to help ratings??? Now that's funny.
