anyone know? I want to get a new safe and this one will probably require me to use a de-humidifier . Isnt there one called a Dry Stick? Does anyone have any type and do they work well on keeping out moisture?

I use silica gel (dessicant) in little cloth baggie on each shelf. I take them out about once avery 3 months and cook them on a cookie sheet for 10 minutes to dry them out, then put them back in the safe. Never had any moisture issues in my safe.

Cloth baggies and canister of flower drying crystals at Michaels or Garden ridge etc, $10 out the door.

whats a good De-Humidifier for gun safe?

I have a Golden-Rod type dehumidifier. What it does is heats air and causes convection currents that prevent condensation of water on firearms. This retards the corrosion process. I have had one installed for 4 years, ever since I bought my Liberty Safe and never had a rust problem. Then again I clean my guns and use corrosion inhibitors.

+1 Golden Rod. Had it in there for years, no rust (except for the time I didn't clean the 870 good before I put it up but that was my fault)

Bullfrog, Bullfrog, Bullfrog. Does not absorb moisture, it emits vapors that cling to the metal. Originally developed for use on submarines and ships for the military. All of the bullfrog line is great.

My safe doesn't have a hole drilled in it to run a cord for a Golden Rod, so I use a couple of Eva-Dry units in my safe. I pull them out every week or so to recharge them:
