My daughter who is six and in first grade came home the other day with a letter from school.

The letter said that two highschool girls walking to the park near their home during the early evening hours were abducted(sp) by two men in a pick up with guns.

me too!!! we just moved here from VA and i was convinced it was a quiet small town. but there is so much construction going on here housing developments are spreading like wildfire i think we may need to move soon.

I'd love to live in that area. However we just bought our first house in chandler. Not nearly as open as where your at. But your right I think within a few years you will basically be in the middle of the city.

if the story there is true: then that area needs good, law-abiding, upright, CCW-type people like you there as part of the community.

yep ya'all are right if more people would come to their senses and utilize their 2nd amendment rights then this would be a nicer place to bring our families.

Don't get me wrong this is a great place to live and I for one will be starting a new neighborhood watch in my neighbor hood. A state policeman lives a couple of houses down and said off the record that if the ccw holders in the neighborhood wanted to patrol at night or around dusk he had no problem with that.

Chandler is not bad. I work in chandler at intel. the drive is just about 20 min or so ant I take chandler heights raod all the way up so very little traffic

They say there are 150 new homes built here in QC every month and there are no signs of slowing.

I moved here from VA small rual town had to drive forever to even go to wally world. guess I just got used to that.

I do alot of work in Q.C. and chandler. Very nice towns. This incident could have happened anywhere. I wouldn't move. It's not like you live in south central Phoenix. Just take precautions with your daughter (which I'm sure you do).

No I don't think I will have to move either I just got a little carried away.

You are right I stand a constant vigil over my family. I pitty the poor soul that attempts to bring harm to any of them.
