iphone contacts DELETED after 4.0 update..
Anyone know how I get my contacts back? I just synced it with my comp. for the first time, to get the new firmware and now I have 0 contacts in my phone.!!!!!!!

Are the contacts in itunes? They should be since it does a back up. If you email apple support they will get back to you within 24 hrs. Both my wifes and my phones had no issues with the upgrade.

Im not familiar with itunes... where would the contacts be? I thought the same thing but cant find contacts anywhere.

Right click on your phone in the left menu of itunes and select restore from backup. IF you have ever backed up or synced your phone before you upgraded this should restore your contacts.
You also need to set it up so that your contacts from your iphone get synced with outlook or in my case I just use windows address book or windows contacts depending on what version of windows you have. This way you always have another copy of your contacts on your computer.

That happened to my older brothers phone. Not sure how he fixed it, but he did. Keep at it. Check out Google a lot.

Most likely you need to check the Sync settings in iTunes.

Doing the restore/back up didnt do ****.
Called apple, couldnt get them back either... Then I remembered when I had my Storm2, I uploaded my contacts at that time to Gmail.. so I got most of em back... Still pissed off though.. Missing about 40 dif. #'s

how do i get back erased contacts iphone4, i updated my apple iphone 4 and it erased all my contacts, iphone 4 contacts deleted, iphone 4 deleted my contacts, iphone 4 erased contacts, iphone 4 wiped out contacts, iphone contacts deleted after software update, iphone update deleted contacts, iphone update deleted my contacts, iphone update wiped out my contacts, iphone version update removes contacts?, iphone why my contacts keep getting deleted after restore, new iphone update delted all contacts, updating iphone 4 software wiped out contacts, when you update your i phone 4s will everything be deleted
