question

what business is it of the press who's got their permit? isn't this just one step closer to a national registration db? isn't this info between us & the state and those we elect to tell?

and the only people who need ever find out if i am even carrying is
(i) the cop who pulls me over and (ii) the thug at the business end of my piece.

Jester,

Won't happen till PA institutes some type of training requirement statewide. Same reason they don't honor Indiana. I have no clue what the problem is w/ W Va.

I am taking my CCL class this coming weekend and Ohio's open carry in the car is my biggest apprehension about carrying in Ohio. Concealed carry should be concealed carry ALL the time.

That doesn't make sense, can carry concealed on the streets but not in a car? They think that's more dangerous, having your gun hidden on you if a cop pulls you over I guess? I don't know about you, but I can easily grab my gun sitting in the open while a cop is coming up to me, a lot faster than I could if it were hidden on my body especially while I've got my seatbelt on and sitting.

+1.

Blanket statements like that, without looking at individual circumstances, are just plain wrong.

*laughs* What is to stop a person from robbing and killing again if they already have the notion that they can do it, they have done it, and they can do it again easily? Honestly I've wasted much time here pursuing something that probably doesn't exist (sanity).

You don't have to worry about ousting that turd taft because he can't run again anyway. I can't tell you how many times the Plain Squealer has printed my name as a CCW holder and no one has done a thing to them. They have repeatedly exploited and violated the media portion of the law and nothing has been done to bring them to justice.

-------------
morals
principles
guilt for past wrong doings
beliefs
love of and for family members
prioritizing
desire to do what is right.

1972, I am 7 years old, doing work on our "church" remodeling job, I steal a 6" letter from a box of letters used for a marquee. Quite proud am I.

By week's end I return it due to guilt feelings

Does this mean I am destined to be a thief all my life?

Once a crook always a crook? Not all the time. People change as they age.
My father in law was a high up union guy in Detroit, knew Hoffa, had great plans for the union, fixed a lot of problems . You didn't mess with him. After awhile, he asked himself what was he doing? He got out of the union upper echelon. He knew if he stayed, he could be doing things that he would later really regret. He is a very nice guy now. He was 50 something at the time he quit.

People mature at different times, you could have two individuals, same age, race, religion, height, weight, gender, and same circumstances growing up.
Individual one may realize that acting like a know it all is not a wise thing to do at about age 20.
Individual two may not realize acting like a know it all is ridiculous until he hits the age of 30 or even 40, or maybe not till he gets married.

People can change, IF they want to.

You can always learn something from anybody. If you want.
