All you need is a small lock box, drill a small hole in it, stick the cord into the box, put a padlock that just fits around the cord so the cord cannot be pulled out of the box and lock the box. Your own cord safe.
The add says that when it is turned off the plug cannot be removed. I dont know exactly how it grabs the plug but even if you can remove it by pulling hard enough, hard wiring the tv power cord directly into it shouldnt be that hard.

thanks
Sounds like more it's more of an issue with the game system, NOT the TV. Heck even if you managed to control the power to the TV, they could change the game and you end up with the same results....

I think it locks the prongs so the cord can't be unplugged from the device.

Since you can't unplug the cord from the TV, unplug the TV from the wall and put one of these on the end of it.

My bad I didn't even see that. I looked and looked and it and kept saying to myself that can't they just unplug it?
Nothing jumped out saying it locked it in side when off.
That might work for my kids and the tv.

I have a FREE SOLUTION!!

I think you and your XD should "Defend " Your property against unwanted use! Kidding, but read on as I had this problem before.

I use to have HUGE problems with my roommates using my ****, and being all around assholes. If you have a Flat screen, I guarantee you it has Parental controls. Set all the parental controls to BLOCK (unknown, TV-MA, TV-Y), and set up an NEW pin code from the default.

You can also set all the channels to BLOCK! Some TV's have a factory RESET code to reset the Parental controls. Take your remote with you or hide it and they will have NO way of putting it in!
