However, I don't support their option to send projectiles flying through the air, landing only God knows where, nor do I support their option to make me look bad as a gun owner because he is an idiot.

I hate to be the party pooper, but in my opinion, this is about as funny as Cheney/shotgun jokes -- not at all.

ETA: What would have been funny is if they'd decided to conserve ammo and just shoed each other in the nuts for a while.

I don't see how he's doing something bad by sending projectiles flying through the air. They're obviously out hunting. ever been hunting? If you're shooting at birds, you're most likely not going to be shooting level with the ground. Granted, it's stupid what they are doing because that'd hurt.. but muzzles were kept at a safe direction and the pellets did the same thing they'd do when any person is out hunting.

In that understanding I quess its not as funny any more.

Apolagies accepted for being a party pooper.

Ill try to block out the fact that the shots are going who knows where and the alcohol can on the ground is probably one of many already gone.

That way it will be as funny as the 1st time i watched it.

Drunk and with Shotguns....

Always a good combination.

I had a guy a couple of years ago, nearly blow his toes off with a 410 while quail hunting...Drunk as a skunk..

After several surgeries and sking grafts, i was able to save his big toe and 2nd toe...Took 5 mos and 5 mos off of work for him. I hope it was worth it.

When hunting for birds, you use a shotgun with light shot. These pellets very quickly lose thier power, force, velocity. Possibly.

Also, if you note, there are people wandering around in the background. Who are these people? Is it possible that there are people wandering around behind the camera man as well? I don't know...

I say the guys in this video, especially the shooter, show a complete disregard for the safety and well being of others, as well as a complete disregard for proper gun safety and have by all measures shown that they are neither competent or responsible enough to own or use guns.

I know I sound like an old man yelling at kids to get off his yard, but in from point of view, he is the enemy. He'd might as well be a member of the Brady bunch, because he's doing absolutely NOTHING to help get rid of this stigmatic reputation that the antis have given gun owners, and is in fact providing unarguable ammuntion for the antis to use against the rest of us in their insistence that we are not smart enough or responsible enough to have guns.

Maybe you didn't realize that he was shooting a rifle, and if so, I can see your point. But if you knew that was a rifle, and don't see anything wrong with his actions, well...what can I say?

Basically what I'm saying is this: If you're not going to be responsible, QUIT FU@KING THINGS UP FOR THE REST OF US!!!
